On Tuesday, April 16, 2013, the newest America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin Set was released. This 17th issued set has three 2013-dated Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial Quarters.
While it’s the 17th overall since the product series debuted alongside the America the Beautiful Quarters® Program in 2010, it is the second of five releases for this year. The first of this year’s three-coin sets included 2013 White Mountain National Forest quarters. Upcoming sets for 2013 will include Great Basin National Park quarters, Fort McHenry Site quarters and Mount Rushmore National Memorial Site quarters.
Held within the Perry’s Victory Quarters Set are three collector quarters that are emblematic of Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial in Ohio. One of the America the Beautiful Quarters is in proof quality from the U.S. Mint at San Francisco while the other two America the Beautiful Quarters are in uncirculated quality with one from the Philadelphia Mint and the other from the U.S. Mint at Denver.
Three-Coin Set prices this year are $9.95, identical to last year. Previous to 2012, the sets were $14.95. All sets that have been released since 2010 remain available and may be purchased on the United States Mint website at www.usmint.gov/catalog.
