Eleven unique products are scheduled for release by the United States Mint in June 2013 according to the bureau’s numismatic product schedule.

2013 Mint Set, Great Basin Quarter, Perry’s Victory 5 Oz Silver Coin, Kennedy halves and Uncirculated Gold Eagle

Dominating that new line-up are five products featuring 2013 Great Basin National Park Quarters. While they will entice many collectors, the Mint’s June 2013 release schedule also contains several other items of interest.

Among them, most popular and first to be issued in the month is the 2013 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set®. This annual release is commonly referred to as the "Mint Set." The 2013 version includes a total of twenty-eight coins representing the circulating coinage of the nation.

A few days later, the West Point minted 2013 Uncirculated American Eagle Gold Coin debuts. This is a collector version of the Mint’s popular bullion Gold Eagle.

Finally, in June the U.S. Mint also plans to release two uncirculated 2013 America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Coins. The first is the Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin and the second is the Great Basin Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin.

Offered below are brief descriptions of the pending releases:

6.4.2013 – 2013 Mint Set

Coin Category: Annual Sets | Price: $27.95

The 2013 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set® or Mint Set contains 28 uncirculated coins. These coins are struck on special presses using greater force than circulating coins and typically result in coins with sharper, intricately detailed images. Fourteen are made at the U.S. Mint’s facility in Philadelphia and fourteen are produced at the U.S. Mint’s facility in Denver. The coins are sealed in protective blisters and displayed in two folders.

Each set includes 2013-dated Philadelphia and Denver produced Presidential $1 Coins, Native American $1 Coins, Kennedy Half Dollars, America the Beautiful Quarters®, Roosevelt Dimes, Jefferson Nickels and Lincoln Cents.

6.6.2013 – 2013 Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin

The 2013 Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin appears from the U.S. Mint as the second 2013-dated release of the America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin™ Program. Coins of the program are struck by the U.S. Mint as collector-grade versions of its America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins™.

Like the bullion silver coins, the uncirculated versions are composed of five ounces of .999 fine silver and feature the large diameter of three inches. Both series feature obverse and reverse imagery originally designed for the associated America the Beautiful Quarters® Program.

Shown on the reverse of this particular coin is a design emblematic of Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial located in the state of Ohio. Mintage limit is 25,000.

6.6.2013 – 2013-W Uncirculated American Eagle Gold Coin

The 2013 Uncirculated American Eagle Gold Coin is released by the United States Mint as a collector grade version of its popular bullion Gold Eagle. These coins are struck to uncirculated quality at the U.S. Mint’s facility in West Point and bear the appropriate ‘W’ mint mark.

Like the related bullion coins as well as associated proof quality coins, the obverse of the strike contains Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ full-length figure of Liberty which first appeared on the 1907 $20 Double Eagle. The reverse contains a family of eagles design by sculptor Miley Busiek.

No pre-set mintage, household or order limits are in place on the release.

6.10.2013 – 2013 Great Basin National Park Quarter Products

Coin Category: America the Beautiful Quarters | Opening Price: Varies dependent upon product

Several different products containing circulation quality Great Basin National Park Quarters will be issued by the U.S. Mint beginning on June 10. This includes bags and rolls of the strike.

The Great Basin Quarter is the third 2013-dated release of the Mint’s America the Beautiful Quarters Program. Coins of the series feature reverse imagery emblematic of selected sites of national interest with this specific coin showcasing a reverse depicting the Great Basin found in the state of Nevada.

Buyers will have the choice of a single roll of San Francisco struck Great Basin Quarters for $18.95, two-roll sets containing one roll of quarters from Philadelphia and one roll from Denver for $32.95, 100-coin bags of Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco minted quarters for $34.95, or a three-roll set with one roll from each minting facility for $46.95.

6.20.2013 – 2013 Kennedy Half Dollar Products

Coin Category: US Coins | Price: Varies dependent upon product

Two product options containing circulation quality 2013 Kennedy Half Dollars will be released by the U.S. Mint on June 20. This includes two-roll sets with one roll from the Philadelphia facility and one roll from the Denver facility for $32.95.

Also available will be 200-coin bags of Kennedy Half Dollars. These bags will sell for $139.95 and contain 100 Philadelphia struck half dollars and 100 Denver struck half dollars.

6.25.2013 – 2013 Great Basin Quarters Three-Coin Set

Coin Category: America the Beautiful Quarters | Opening Price: $9.95

Three different versions of the 2013 Great Basin Quarter are found in the set to be issued on June 25. Those three quarters include:

• a proof 2013-S Great Basin National Park quarter from the San Francisco Mint
• an uncirculated 2013-P Great Basin National Park quarter from the Philadelphia Mint, and
• an uncirculated 2013-D Great Basin National Park quarter from the Denver Mint

The quarters are all attached to the same durable card which features a photographic image of the park, information about it and the quarters.

6.27.2013 – 2013 Great Basin Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin

Also honoring Great Basin of Nevada are Uncirculated 2013 Great Basin Five Ounce Silver Coins for release on June 27. These silver coins are offered as the third 2013-dated release of the America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin™ Program.

The coins are struck to uncirculated quality from five ounces of .999 fine silver to a diameter of three inches. They are encapsulated and placed in a protective display box and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Mintage limit for the coin is set at 25,000.
