This page contains the latest available First Spouse Gold Coin mintages, sales figures, prices and other information as published by the United States Mint. The US Mint launched the series in 2007. The 24-karat, or .9999 fine, $10 denominated gold coins honors the spouses of former presidents and they are issued at the same time intervals as the Presidential $1 coins. The program will last until all the deceased first ladies have been honored, with a current release schedule planned until 2016. In most years, there are or will be eight coins released — four honoring a specific first lady and depicting her image on one-half ounce proof and an uncirculated gold coins.
The following table offers not only the latest sales figures, mintages and prices for the coins, but also their issue dates, premiums above their melt value and links to further information about each year’s issues.
