Today at 12:00 noon (ET) the United States Mint will begin selling the 2007 American Eagle Platinum Proof and Uncirculated Coins.
2006 began a new platinum three-year coin series named “The Foundation of American Democracy”. The series celebrates the Executive Branch with a new reverse design every year.
Last year featured the “Legislative Muse”. This year the design features the “Executive Branch.”
