The Professional Numismatists Guild (www.PNGdealers.com) has added a third PNG Day show during 2011. It will be held in Pittsburgh on October 12, the day before the American Numismatic Association’s National Money Show there.
Dealers who take a table at the upcoming ANA-PNG Official Pre-Show in Chicago, August 13 – 15, will get a $100 discount on tables for the Pittsburgh PNG Day, October 12, and be entered in a drawing for a free table for the Pittsburgh PNG Day.
"We usually have two PNG Days each year: in conjunction with and immediately prior to the Central States Numismatic Society convention in the spring and then in conjunction with and immediately prior to the ANA World’s Fair of Money in the summer. With the scheduling of the first-ever fall ANA National Money Show in Pittsburgh we’ve added this third PNG Day to the calendar in cooperation with the ANA," said Robert Brueggeman, PNG Executive Director.
"In addition, the usual $400 application fee will be waived for prospective PNG members who apply for membership by July 15 and take tables at the Chicago pre-show and in Pittsburgh. So, this is an excellent opportunity for both current PNG member-dealers to save money on a table at a major show and for prospective members to save money on joining PNG as well as saving $100 on a Pittsburgh PNG Day table," Brueggeman explained.
The ANA and PNG will jointly sponsor the Official Pre-Show prior to the ANA World’s Fair of Money for three years beginning with the ANA Chicago convention in August. Collectors are cordially invited to contact the PNG or any PNG member-dealer for a complimentary invitation to attend the Chicago pre-show and Pittsburgh PNG Day.
