I am now waiting on my third Girl Scouts coin, having returned the first two due to damage. I will be waiting to see if this third coin exhibits the same manufacturing damage as the first two. Frankly I have to wonder if a human even looks at these coins before they are packaged and shipped.
With the price of silver dropping to $27.50 and the new 5 oz ATB rising in price
to $245, the premium is going to be high. It will be over $100
a coin. Mintages could get really low. Although collectors may not care.
Same problem with the third coin. I’m done. It goes back for a refund instead of exchange. Apparently the Mint is no longer capable of quality control or even seeking feedback to understand what is wrong. Good luck in their future endeavors. I’ve had enough.
