Earlier today the United States Mint published a preliminary product schedule complete with about six dozen coins, covers or sets.
Last December on the same day the U.S. Mint published much of what it expected to release this year, minus prices, saying the preliminary schedule could help customers better plan their purchases. It’s nice that this is becoming an annual tradition.
Specific release dates are not yet available but release months are, plus prices for most of the products. Also, the Mint notes that on-sale dates and prices are still to be determined for the:
- 2014 America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins, the
- 2014 First Spouse Gold Coins, the
- 2014 Presidential $1 Coin and First Spouse Medal Sets and the
- 2014 National Baseball Hall of Fame Commemorative Coins.

I hope the mint continues to look ahead publicly and let us know their production schedule.
Don’t understand why after this year’s experience they can’t anticipate when they might be releasing the 5 oz and spouse related coins.
Disappointed they aren’t doing the 1 oz palladium coins.
Can we melt 5oz Silver ATB coins? leagally ?
