Earlier today, April 22, the United States Mint started accepting orders for its newest annually issued product, the 2015 America the Beautiful Quarters Uncirculated Coin Set.
Priced at $12.95, this set offers pairings of five unique, one-year only coin designs. There are ten coins in collector uncirculated quality, with five from the Denver Mint and five from the Philadelphia Mint. The quarters for this year honor the following sites:
- Homestead National Monument of America in Nebraska,
- Kisatchie National Forest in Louisiana,
- Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina,
- Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Delaware, and
- Saratoga National Historical Park in New York.
Each quarter is marked on its obverse or heads side with P or D to denote its mint of origin. The 10 coins are displayed inside a folder with descriptions of each honored site, coin specifications and a certificate of authenticity.
