I was one of the lucky ones to be able to grab one Liberty medal from West point, the SanFrans were sold out by the time my rep at the mint entered in my order on her system… I can’t wait to send this unbelievable gorgeous medal to NGC to have it graded. The mint finally made a coin that’s out of this world.. My gosh the fields on this medal are perfecto.. Never see anything like it from the mint…I know it will come back at a min a PF60 Ultra Cameo but crossing my fingers for that PF70… Read more »
my bad I mean it will come back from NGC at a min of a pf69uc…
69… Unless you’re sending in 20 of them… NGC sabes their 70’s for bulk graders…

The Mint still has 600 AL Proof silver medals unsold! And about 9,000 gold dimes unsold & about 800 Proof Platinum American Eagle coins unsold! Sell them or melt them US Mint officials – an easy choice, just flip a coin for G-D”s sake!

12,219 minus 1 for the SF mint. Mine arrived with a black dot on the reverse and I’m sending it back. Doubtful if I can get a replacement, but if I do it’ll make my day.
Here’s what it looks like:

How true your words are, the choice cant be that hard to give some of us a shot at the Silver Liberty’s, were you lucky enough to get any of the Gold dimes .?

charles –
I was lucky on the gold dimes & got 3 problem-free coins that would probably grade SP-70 if submitted to PCGS. I kept one for my collection & gave one each to my two older nephews who like coins but can’t afford them since they are in college paying tuition etc.
If you missed out on the gold dime, I hope they offer the rest for sale soon so everyone who missed out can have the chance to get one at issue price.
Happy collecting Charles!

I have been trying to get the gold dime for for a long time! There it is on the mints web page. I agree to sell them or take them off your web page. I also missed out on the silver American liberty that they still are out of or not selling. Any one have an extra they want to sell? Lol
Thanks,I think Dustyroads
I was fortunate to get both mint marks! Absolutely beautiful coins… Dumb question, if you don’t mind. I noticed that the obverse does not have “In God We Trust,” and the reverse does not have the dollar amount with 0.9999 fine silver. And when you rotate the coin to look at the reverse it’s rotated by the vertical axis an not the horizontal, like with regular coins. I ask this because I looked at pictures of this coin’s gold counterpart (from which I thought it was “paired” to) and the things mentioned above are there. Why did the Mint decide… Read more »
