Today, Nov. 27, the United States Mint started selling a three-coin set of George Rogers Clark quarters for $9.95. The national historical park is located on the banks of the Wabash River in Vincennes, Indiana.
This newest America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin Set™ is the final of five issues for 2017 and the fortieth overall in the series which dates back to 2010.
George Rogers Clark quarters were released into circulation earlier this month — the same day that the U.S. Mint released rolls and bags of them in circulating quality. Quarters in this set are more unique in that are minted in higher quality, have lower mintages, and feature different finishes.
The three coins include an uncirculated quarter from the Denver Mint, an uncirculated quarter from the Philadelphia Mint and a proof quarter from the San Francisco Mint. Each bears the appropriate mintmark for its facility of production — a D, P or S.

All three quarters are within a protective card with its front showing a scenic photo of the national historical park’s George Rogers Clark Memorial. The card’s back includes summary information about the park, a description of the quarters’ design, and a certificate of authenticity.
