Special occasion coins top Perth Mint of Australia offerings for January, including collectibles for newborns, birthdays, graduations and couples.

Rounding out releases for the month are a Scooby-Doo coin, an Australian opal coin, a Mini Roo gold coin, a poster-shaped WWI Peace Bonds coin, and a Phoenix antiqued rimless coin.

2018 Scooby-Doo 1oz Silver Proof Coin

The Perth Mint is excited to release its first Warner Bros. coin, which celebrates the enduringly popular SCOOBY-DOO. The lovable four-legged hero is depicted on this 1oz 99.99% pure silver proof coin, which is issued as Tuvalu legal tender.

Officially licensed, only 5,000 limited edition coins will be released.

The final release in this commemorative five-coin series pays tribute to the Peace Loans launched by the Australian Government after the end of World War I. The coin’s reverse depicts a representation of the ‘Buy Peace Bonds’ poster headed by the inscription AUSTRALIAN PEACE BONDS.

Phoenix 2018 2oz Silver Antiqued Rimless Coin
