Early United States Mint sales figures are now available for the new 2018 Proof Set.
Released a week ago Tuesday, March 6, the 10-coin set of clad proof coins scored six-day sales of 182,940. The start is somewhat slower than other recent issues.
Proof Sets over the years have launched in different months and on different days of the week — usually on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays, affecting their first-reported sales totals. Keep that in mind when looking at the figures in the table below.

In addition, 15 products saw their sales totals reduced against 5 previously. There were more negative revisions to the no longer available WWI Centennial Silver Dollar and Medal Sets and larger adjustments to all of the Pictured Rocks quarter roll and bag products.
Finally, for the first time, the U.S. Mint is no longer reporting figures for Presidential $1 Coin and First Spouse products.

Old Collector,
Thank you! We’ve been doing these weekly sales reports for around 9 years now.
