No more than 200,000 of the 2018-S Silver Reverse Proof Sets will be sold, the United States Mint announced last week.
Further restrictions include a 10-set per household limit across all sales outlets, including bulk orders from dealers, for the first 24 hours beginning on July 23 at noon Eastern Time. U.S. Mint customers can order as many sets as they want after the first 24 hours of sales, provided any remain.
The limited-edition set, priced at $54.95, celebrates the 50th anniversary of proof coin production at the San Francisco Mint. Each coin in the set is struck in reverse proof which features mirrored design elements against frosted fields — exactly opposite of standard proof coins.
Seven of the 10 coins will be in .900 silver. They include the Roosevelt dime, Kennedy half-dollar, and the five 2018-dated America the Beautiful quarter dollars honoring Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan, Apostle Islands National Lakeshore in Wisconsin, Voyageurs National Park in Minnesota, Cumberland Island National Seashore in Georgia, and Block Island National Wildlife Refuge in Rhode Island.
The other three reverse proofs will be the Lincoln cent, the Jefferson nickel, and the Native American $1 Coin honoring Jim Thorpe.
All 10 coins will carry an ‘S’ mint mark to designate their production at the San Francisco Mint.

I am buying. This item will sale out simple research will let you know that this will be the rarest silver proof set since 1953 mintage of 128,800. Unlike with other regular issue Silver proof quarters this set will not issue quarter only reverse proof. So that will further cause interest. So lower mintage of quarters than normal. Furthermore this will be the first reverse proof Lincoln cent, Jefferson Nickel, Sacajawea Dollar and the first Washington quarters in reverse proof. Small collectors should order a set before the big companies order them all up and split them up for grading… Read more »
