The latest gift product from the United States Mint, the 2020 Congratulations Set, goes on sale today at noon EST. It includes the same 2020-W Proof American Silver Eagle that launches by itself, also at noon, albeit at a different price point and in different packaging.
The set is designed with gift-giving in mind for events such as weddings, anniversaries, retirements, graduations, etc. Its packaging is themed for special occasions with areas for a personalized message, the coin and its specifications, and a U.S. Mint Certificate of Authenticity.
Issued annually since introduced in 2013, the set’s popularity has varied with thousands sold each year. It has sister products as well, like the recently released 2020 Newborn and Birthday Sets.
For those interested in just the 2020-W Proof Silver Eagle, it will be $64.50, one dollar less than the set. The stand-alone Silver Eagle ships in a blue velvet, satin-lined presentation case.
American Silver Eagles bear the same imagery, including an obverse (heads side) image of Walking Liberty as designed by Adolph A. Weinman. Inscriptions read LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST and the year of minting.
Their reverse depicts a heraldic eagle with shield design by John M. Mercanti. Inscriptions around the design include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, ONE DOLLAR, E PLURIBUS UNIM (held in the eagle’s beak), and the mintmark of "W" denoting their product at the West Point Mint.

Price and Ordering
This year’s Congratulations Set is $65.50, representing an $8.55 increase from last year. It will be available at noon from the U.S. Mint’s Gift Ideas section or by calling 1-800-USA-MINT (1-800-872-6468).
There is no product or household order limits.
Why is it called a set if there’s only one coin in it?
Last couple years, if I’m not mistaken, went into “Back Order” very quickly–Not This Year.
“E PLURIBUS UNIM”
Typo alert.
When you open it up it says”Congratulation we got you! USM”
