The Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) will hold a two-hour meeting by teleconference on Tuesday, April 14 to review and discuss candidate designs for the 2020 George H.W. Bush Presidential $1 Coin.
The CCAC is tasked with advising the Secretary of the Treasury on themes and designs pertaining to all United States coins and medals.
The last dollars issued from the U.S. Mint’s Presidential $1 Coin Program launched in 2016 and featured Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, and Ronald Reagan. The program was extended earlier this year with the passage of the President George H.W. Bush and First Spouse Barbara Bush Coin Act (Public Law 116-112).
Meeting Time
The CCAC meeting begins at 1:00 p.m. and is scheduled to last until 3:00 p.m. (EST). Interested members of the public may dial in to listen by calling (866) 564-9287 and using Access Code: 62956028. This teleconference is "listen only." No comments or questions will be taken during the meeting.
