The Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) will hold a meeting by teleconference on Tuesday, May 18, to review and discuss candidate designs for the four 2023 American Innovation Dollars (Ohio, Louisiana, Indiana, and Mississippi).
The CCAC is tasked with advising the Secretary of the Treasury on themes and designs pertaining to all United States coins and medals.
Honoring innovations and innovators throughout the U.S. and its territories, the dollars will be themed with reverse designs celebration innovation in Ohio, Louisiana, Indiana, and Mississippi. The U.S. Mint program is authorized under the American Innovation $1 Coin Act.

The CCAC meeting on the 18th will begin at 1:00 p.m. and it is scheduled to last until 4:30 p.m. (EDT).
