With less than three months of shopping left before the holiday season, the United States Mint today releases two new gifting options for the coin loving community. This includes their 2023 Mighty Minters™ Ornament and their 2023 United States Mint Holiday Ornament.
Both go on sale today beginning at Noon ET directly from the U.S. Mint. Pricing for each is $35.
Found in the center of each new ornament is one 2023 Native American $1 Coin. The dollar’s design features Maria Tallchief, locked in a graceful ballet pose. Behind, and to each side of Tallchief, four more dancers appear. They represent Tallchief’s younger sister Marjorie Tallchief, Yvonne Chouteau, Rosella Hightower, and Moscelyne Larkin. Together, the group was known as the "Five Moons," which is also signified by the lunar motif of the image.
These coins are are in uncirculated finish and were produced at the Philadelphia Mint.

On the back of the ornament, an engraved version of the official United States Mint Seal is shown, along with "Made in the U.S.A." and "©2023 U.S. Mint." A certificate of authenticity is included with each purchase.
