I purchased the 2021 only because it had both the Type I and Type II Proof Silver Eagles in it! I don’t remember what I paid tho. It’s still sealed/unopened in the original Mint shipping box. At least there were two Proof silver eagles in it. A much better deal compared to the years after 2021. That was my last one I’ll be purchasing, 1) too much money, overpriced, 2) I don’t collect/stack silver any longer unless it’s to flip to make money for purchasing gold.

Well, as always, Good Luck ALL!!!

AKBob,

The 2021 edition of this product was indeed the last worthwhile one to get. I’m glad I have one in my collection and I’m also happy to have called it a day with that one.

Kaiser Wilhelm

This one was unique for the 2 ASEs. On the other hand, it had only 2 quarters.

Sooooooo overpriced for a set that has coins previously available differently packaged. Nothing unique or limited

Kaiser Wilhelm

Domenic Vaiasicca,

That’s an excellent point. It’s been suggested before that if the nickel and cent were also made of 99.9% silver this might even be something to consider, but as it is, no.

$255.00 for an item containing $81.39 of silver at current spot. Thanks but no thanks.

Kaiser — I learned long ago that I always seemed to be rooting for the losing team. For instance, while I did not attend UCLA (because it did not offer my major), I always wanted (way back then but not now) to have gone there. And one of my high school classmates even achieved the only Heisman Trophy ever awarded to a UCLA player. (Btw, that is a great Trivia question.) But root as I might for UCLA, they always seemed to lose when the played USC. So one time I decided to root for their arch-rival Trojans. And guess… Read more »

It is no wonder why there are so many items still available with the US mint with these prices Gold and Silver both high prices.. What is the price going to be on the 2024 Flowing hair gold coin going to be no image of the coin yet think it will sell out fast?

Antonio

Look them up on ebay, see what they’re going for. No $255 a set. I think the Mint priced themselves out of this one. Time will tell. I believe I bought the 2021 set as well. The one and only one I’ve bought.

Keep Calm & Stack On

I have the 2012 and 2013 LESPS.., they’re all but trashed now…

The coins have turned either light yellow, orangie yellow, beige, or pinkish tan – I presume from the chemicals in the print on the cardboard within the sealed plastic case,

Also have some 2016 Walking Libs with red spots that have developed, total bummer, hoped that would be limited to gold buffalos.
