Attention moves to the fifth and final America the Beautiful Quarter of 2013 depicting Mount Rushmore National Memorial as the spotlight on the Fort McHenry quarter dims following its release ceremony on Friday.
Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine quarters were released into circulation and the United States Mint began selling rolls and bags of them on Aug. 26, 2013. A United States Mint-sponsored release ceremony was held more recently on Sept. 13, 2013 to coincide with Defenders Day, a scene of which is found on the reverse of the Fort McHenry quarter.
Fort McHenry Quarters Three-Coin Sets will close out new product offerings from the Mint for the coins, and that happens on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013.
