Production figures for the 2013 coins soared. More 2013 quarters were struck than the combined annual mintages from the first three years of America the Beautiful Quarters combined. Here is a breakout of total mintages by year:
- 2010 is 347,000,000
- 2011 is 391,200,000
- 2012 is 568,006,000
- 2013 is 1,455,200,000
The last quarter of the 2013, honoring Mount Rushmore National Memorial, officially earned the title as most produced in the series with more than 500 million struck — higher than the America the Beautiful Quarters mintage total through each of the first two years.
