The United States Mint this morning released coin production figures for March, and for the first time this year circulating 2010 America the Beautiful Quarters were struck. Also minted were additional Lincoln cents, Native American Dollars and Presidential $1 Coins.

Prices realized for U.S. coins exceeded $5.5 million while U.S. currency accounted for a further $1.3 million of the total, for a combined U.S. prices realized of more than $7 million.

America the Beautiful Quarter ObverseThe America the Beautiful Quarters Program kicks off a new 11-year series of commemorative coins beginning in 2010. With the US Mint's preliminary 2010 schedule now available and by reviewing already published offerings from its subscription service, tentative information on many of the new 2010 quarter products and their prices is available for review.

Similar to the 50 States Quarters Program and the 2009 D.C. & U.S. Territories Quarters Program, the new series features five different annual quarter designs.
